1. National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) "the Employer", intends to get the
Works done for Contract No. TLC-RWP-02-2023 with funds through NHA Deposit work. The Scope of
works includes Soil Investigation at various locations of proposed towers as stated in bidding documents.
Soil Investigation for Relocation/Upraising of EHV Transmission lines coming
under ROW of Kharian Rawalpindi Motorway Project
2. The Employer invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering
Council and/or Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners in the appropriate category for the above
Scope of Works. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with PEC Single
Stage-Single Envelope (SSSE) procedure.
3. Bidders may obtain further information from, inspect at and acquire the Bidding Documents from the
Office of the Employer, at:

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by an interested Bidder on submission of a
written application to the above office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rupees 2,000/- from
March 24th, 2023. The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft from any scheduled bank of
Pakistan in favor of "Executive Engineer (EHV-I) NTDC".
5. The Bidder as main contractor (single entity or joint venture partner) should have experience in
execution of at least one (01) project of similar complexity in subsoil investigation using modern
techniques, tools and plants for taking soil samples, transportation and testing in the laboratory within the
last ten (10) years.
Supporting documents shall be submitted by the bidder to substantiate the claimed experience.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount not less than 2% of total bid price of
respective lot in Pak. Rupees in the form of Deposit at Call or a Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank
in Pakistan in favour of the Employer valid for a period up to twenty eight (28) days beyond the bid validity
date. Insurance guarantee from companies having alteast AA+ rating from PACRA/JCR instead of Bank
Guarantee are acceptable for State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) only.
7. The bids must be delivered to the above office on or before April 13th, 2023 at 11:00 am. Bids will be
opened at 11:30 am on the same day, in the presence of Bidder's representatives who choose to attend at
the same address.
8. All bidders must fill in check list before submission of bid in their own interest
Instructions to Bidders which is a mandatory requirement.
9. NTDC reserve all its rights regarding rejection of bids as defined in Clause 33(1) of PPRA Rules 2004.
